The Meek Method
Decision coaching for after the choice

You made the decision. Then the pressure to reopen it began.

My work begins where most decision coaching ends — after the choice is made, when it becomes real and starts asking to be renegotiated.

After the choice

Making the decision was not the hard part.

Morning light falls across a stone passage beyond an open oak door.

You accepted the job. You left the relationship. You started the business. You set the boundary. You made the move.

Then it became real.

The delays arrived. The uncomfortable conversations arrived. Someone needed time to adjust, and someone else questioned your judgment. The numbers moved before they settled.

Meanwhile the option you did not choose has stayed exactly where you left it — untouched, untested, and remembered at its best. You are comparing the real version of one choice with an edited version of the other.

That is not a fair comparison. It is also completely ordinary.

What doesn’t close, controls.

A necessary distinction

Pressure can be real without becoming evidence.

Pressure — real, but not proof

  • Missing someone
  • Feeling exposed
  • Someone disagreeing
  • Temporary uncertainty
  • The difficulty of transition

Evidence — worth taking seriously

  • A material change in safety
  • A real change in your capacity
  • A change in your values
  • A change in your responsibilities
  • Materially changed business or life conditions

Discomfort can be completely real without being evidence that the decision was wrong. Some decisions do deserve to be reopened — when the facts underneath them have actually changed. The question is not “does this feel hard?” It is “did the evidence change, or did the pressure rise?”

The framework

The Meek Method

The Meek Method is the framework I built to answer one question: why does a decision keep reopening after it has already been made?

It works in three movements. Understand the pressure acting on the decision. Build the structure that lets you hold it while life responds. Reach the point where you are no longer renegotiating something you already know.

The Decision Stabilization Intensive

A private 90-minute session focused on one decision you keep reopening — plus a separate Decision Hold Review one to two weeks later, after you have lived with it.

Explore the Intensive
  • One decision. Not your whole life. The one that keeps pulling your attention back.

  • 90 minutes, privately. We find what keeps the decision open and separate the pressure from the evidence.

  • A Decision Hold Plan. Written for your situation, not a worksheet.

  • One committed move within 24–72 hours. Something that makes the decision real.

  • A Decision Hold Review, 7–14 days later. We look at what actually happened — what held, what started reopening, and what needs strengthening.

What clients say about the work.

“Before working with Aimee, our executive committee was stuck in a four-month loop on a major strategic pivot. Within two sessions using The Meek Method, we identified the hidden friction, made the call, and moved forward with 100% board alignment.”
