Privacy

This page explains what happens to your information when you use this website. It is written to be read, not to be technically compliant and practically useless.
The short version: this site collects almost nothing, stores nothing of its own, and does not track you.
Who is responsible
This site is operated by Aimee Meek, trading as The Meek Method.

Contact Aimee about privacyWhat this site collects
If you subscribe to the newsletter: your email address, your first name if you choose to give it, and the date you subscribed.
If you use the contact form: your name, your email address, the reason you selected, and your message.
If you register for the Decision Pressure Lab: your name, email address, and time zone. This is collected by Calendly, not by this website.
That is the complete list. This site does not ask for, and you should not send through it, medical, legal, financial, employment, or crisis information.
What this site does not do
- No advertising, no advertising cookies, no remarketing, no pixels.
- No profiling, and no attempt to identify you across sites or visits.
- No selling or sharing of your information.
- No database. This website stores nothing itself — information lives with the companies named below.
Newsletter confirmation
When you subscribe, this site sends you an email asking you to confirm. Your address is only added to the list after you click that link.
Until you confirm, your address is not stored anywhere. The confirmation link carries a signed, expiring token instead of a saved record. If you never click it, nothing about you remains.
Who processes your information
Cloudflare and Resend are based in the United States. If you are in the UK or EU, your information is transferred there on the basis of the safeguards in those companies’ data processing terms.
Calendly runs only when you choose to open it. Until you click, nothing is sent to them.
| Company | What they do | What they hold |
|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare | Hosts the website and its security | Your IP address in transit, and aggregate visit statistics that cannot identify you |
| Resend | Sends the newsletter and delivers contact-form messages | Your email address and, for contact messages, your name and message |
| Calendly | Handles booking and Lab registration | The details you enter when you choose to book |
Visit statistics
This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page visits without cookies and without collecting anything that identifies you. It records which pages were viewed and roughly where visitors arrived from. It cannot follow you between sites, and it is not connected to anything you type into a form.
How long information is kept
Newsletter subscribers are kept until you unsubscribe, which you can do from any email. Contact messages arrive in a personal inbox and are kept as long as the conversation is useful. Booking details are held by Calendly under its own retention. Visit statistics are aggregate and are never tied to a person.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe at any time, ask what information is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Get in touch through the contact page and it will be handled.
Depending on where you live you may also have the right to object to processing, to request a copy of your information in portable form, or to complain to a data protection authority.
